Media outreach lead for MassMutual FutureSmart Challenge- a national tour that provides financial education to middle school students. MassMutual partnered with award-winning actor and New York Times best-selling author Hill Harper, local NBA teams, and basketball legends, to reach over 25,000 kids across the country.
Goodie Nation
Used earned media to demonstrate how large companies entrusted their DEI and initiatives to Black Founders Goodie Nation. Media trained Joey to prepare him for the Black Enterprise feature story and several other leaders to position them among leading media outlets. Partnered with Lenovo PR and small business owner winners to launch an Evolve Innovation Challenge. Secured local and national media placements in over 14 media outlets and secured more than 12 million media impressions.

Organized press conference to launch ConsejoSano, a health services navigation platform for Spanish speakers in America and helped raised through public relations $4.9 million in Series A funding. Company was featured among leading media outlets such as Wall Street Journal, CNN and Yahoo News among others.
